Since many of years I book and photograph professional models. If you work with international agencys it is not often the case that you work with amateurs who are very similar to a professional models. But what is the difference? Models are working professional and uncomplicated, they are authentic, have the perfect figure and measurements, charisma and personality, they can put themself into a role and not at least they have some acting skills. Of course it is not my job to find models or talents or to search for them but sometimes at events, castings or shows you can find some. This was also the case with Vanessa Küstner. She was part at my calendarpresentation where he was participating at the runway show. Then she had an supporting role at my artsujet "Black Widow". And now you can see her in my artsujets "Life" and "Romance." I soon recognized the talent and charisma of Vanessa, who is born in Salzburg and is now living in Styria, and so we photographed her for the australian Penthouse and the french Magazine Look and I hope I could support her international model carreer with this. We photographed at this time in the Aux Gazelle, this is a real special and beautiful location. Here you have the option to build up some different sets. And as you can also see in the Making of video we chose a set which is very well for Vanessa. We worked in the foreground with a small softbox, which I put displaced to her to get some shades in front of her. From the back I worked with two back lights and some light for the background. The posings I commited to Vanessa because I wanted to see how she is working with her expression. And as you can see in the pictures she did it very well. I am very sure about that we will hear soon more about Vanessa. At the next time I will tell you about my shooting with the Hollywood actor Michael York and about the first fotoshooting with the new Miss Austria 2010.

Seit vielen Jahren buche und fotografiere ich Profimodels. Wenn man mit internationalen Agenturen zusammen arbeitet kommt es nur selten vor, dass man auf Amateure trifft die einem Profi bereits sehr nahe kommen.
Doch was macht den Unterschied aus?
Profis arbeiten professionell und unkompliziert. Sie sind verläßlich, haben perfekte Maße und Figur, Ausstrahlung und Persönlichkeit, können sich in verschiedene Rollen versetzen und haben nicht zuletzt schauspielerische Fähigkeiten.
Es ist nicht meine Aufgabe solche Talente und Modelle zu finden oder nach ihnen zu suchen aber manchmal kommt es vor, dass man bei Veranstaltungen, Castings oder Shows eben solche entdeckt.
So war es auch bei Vanessa Küstner. Sie lief bei meiner Kalenderpräsentation am Laufsteg und war dann Nebendarstellerin als ich mein Kunstsujet "Black Widow" fotografierte. Nun ist Sie auch in meinen Kunstsujets "Life" und "Romance" zu sehen. Das Talent der gebürtigen Salzburgerin, die zur Zeit in der Steiermark lebt, ist mir sofort aufgefallen. Daher haben wir nicht lange überlegt und Sie für den australischen Penthouse und das französische Magazin Look fotografiert. Ich hoffe so den Start Ihrer internationalen Modelkarriere unterstützt zu haben. Fotografiert haben wir dieses Mal im Aux Gazelles, einer wirklich besonderen und sehr schönen Location.
Hier besteht die Möglichkeit viele verschiedene Sets aufzubauen und wie ihr auch im Making of Video sehen könnt, haben wir uns für ein Set entschieden das sehr gut zu Vanessa paßte. Wir haben im Vordergrund mit einer schmalen Softbox gearbeitet, welche ich leicht versetzt von ihr platziert habe, um so etwas Schatten vor ihr erzeugen zu können. Von hinten habe ich dann mit zwei Gegenlichtern gearbeitet sowie mit einem Licht für den Hintergrund.
Die Posings selbst habe ich ganz Vanessa überlassen, ich wollte sehen wie sehr Sie mit ihrem Ausdruck arbeiten kann. Und wie ihr anhand der Fotos sehen könnt, hat Sie das perfekt gemeistert. Ich bin mir sicher, dass wir von Vanessa noch einiges hören werden. Beim nächsten Mal berichte ich Euch dann vom Shooting mit dem Hollywood Schauspieler Michael York und dem ersten Fotoshooting mit der frisch gebackenen Miss Austria 2010.
