I had for the second time the opportunity and luck to work with the supermodel Joanna Krupa. At this time also her beautiful sister Marta participate at the shooting. The location was in the Tower Hotel in Beverly Hills, exactley we were in an italian suite with an canopy bed. My assistant Roman Leroy did build up the set about two hours before the start of the shooting. We worked with four flashlights, softboxes, natural daylightcanal and some lightners, so we had really a professional light. Often it is the case, that if you book a location for a shooting you need to reform it or build it in another way. The more important it is for me to take a look at the location before the shooting or to have enough photomaterial from the scouts. Also at this time we need to build the room in another way. We placed the canopy bed across that we get a deeper perspective, so I also could better use the place and background in the room. Joanna and Marta were a little bit delayed but in Los Angeles with almost 18 Million cars it is not very astonishing. Their agent Nada came some time before to talk about the details of the shooting. The stylists did really a great job, they brought not only a lot of outfits, also they brought with them a lot of shoes, as you can see in the making of video on youtube. They worked on the make up and the hair while we perfectionated the lightdirections and made some testphotos with the assistants. It is really a lot of fun to work with professional models, because models need to present themselfs exactley like this, with confidence and a lot of posings. Both had really fun at the shooting for an international magazine. The pictures will be published worldwide and both Marta and Joanna were happy about that. You can see very well at the pictures and also at the making of video how important it is not only to look good it is also neccessary to present yourself good in front of the camera. By now there are a lot of contests in Austria like Austrias Next Topmodel and I see that we have some talents but a jury which can not find them. And I often see that talents dont know how to use their look. Also it is really funny to see, when you come back from Los Angeles or New York the difference between professional models and amateur. And the difference between stars and them who like to be. But of course I am happy about my productions in Europe and at the next time I will tell you about a special artsujet for my new book where we will photograph with 14 professional models.

Ich hatte nun schon das zweite Mal die Ehre und das Glück mit dem Supermodel Joanna Krupa zu arbeiten.
Diesmal war auch ihre wunderschöne Schwester Marta beim Shooting mit dabei.
Die Location war das Tower Hotel in Beverly Hills, genauer gesagt eine italienische Suite mit Himmelbett in diesem.
Mein Assistent Roman Leroy hatte zwei Stunden vor Beginn des Shootings alles aufgebaut.
Wir arbeiteten mit 4 Blitzköpfen, Softboxen, natürlichen Tageslichtröhren und einigen Aufhellern, wir hatten also wirklich professionelles Licht.
Oft ist es so, dass wenn man eine Location betritt man vieles umbauen oder umstellen muss.
Um so wichtiger ist es für mich, dass ich entweder die Location zuvor besichtige oder umfassendes Fotomaterial von unseren Locationscouts erhalte. Auch diesmal mussten wir ein wenig umstellen. Wir stellten das Himmelbett quer um eine tiefere Perspektive zu bekommen, so war auch der Hintergrund und Platz für mich besser nutzbar. Joanna und Marta kamen ein wenig später, was in Los Angeles bei fast 18 Millionen Autos schon mal vor kommen kann. Ihre Agentin Nadja war schon vorab bei uns um noch die Einzelheiten zu besprechen. Die Stylisten leisteten gute Arbeit und brachten jede Menge Outfits und vor allem, wie ihr im Making ofVideo auf Youtube sehen könnt, Schuhe mit!
An Make up und Haaren wurde noch gefeilt während wir uns noch um die finalen Lichteinstellungen kümmerten und ein paar Testaufnahmen mit den Assistenten machten.
Es macht wirklich extrem viel Spaß mit solchen Profis zu arbeiten, denn genau so müssen sich Models präsentieren können, selbstbewußt und mit perfektem Posing.
Beide hatten sichtlich Spaß und Freude daran sich für ein internationales Magazin fotografieren zu lassen.
Die Fotos werden weltweit publiziert und sowohl Marta wie auch Joanna hatten Ihre Freude damit.
Man sieht anhand der Fotografien genauso wie im Making of Video sehr gut, wie wichtig es ist, dass man nicht nur gut aussieht sondern sich vor der Kamera auch präsentieren kann.
Im Moment gibt es so viele Wettbewerbe in Österreich wie z.B. Austrias Next Topmodel, wir haben zwar viele Talente aber wenig gute Jurymitglieder die diese erkennen.
Auch wissen Talente oftmals nicht wie Sie mit ihrem Aussehen umgehen sollen. Auch finde ich es immer wieder lustig, wenn man aus Los Angeles oder New York zurück kommt wie deutlich man den Unterschied zwischen Profis und Amateuren sehen kann. Wie auch den großen Unterschied zwischen Stars und denen die versuchen solche zu sein. Ich freue mich natürlich auf meine Aufgaben und Produktionen in Europa und berichte euch beim nächsten Mal von einem ganz besonderen Kunstsujet für mein neues Buch für welches wir mit 14 Profimodels am Set gearbeitet haben.
