Before, we will fly to New York where we will have two interesting and exciting photoshootings, we had this week a great photoshooting with to autrians in Malibu. On the one hand there was Roland Kickinger, an actor and athlete who lives since a few time in Los Angeles and on the other hand the playmate and ex Miss Austria Silvia Hackl. And of course I did not miss the chance to photograph with both directly on the beach in Malibu. We were on almoste the same place on the beach, where Mel Gibson lived in the movie Lethal Weapon in his trailer at the beach. We met at noon and drove then togehter to the location which we chosed some days before. My assistant Roman brought the whole equipment to the set and built it up perfect. We worked with equipment from California Sunbounce and flashlights and generators from Profoto. Roman had to grapple with the wind and sand. He needed very often to clean the camera and cable. Silvia and Roland brought their own outfits to the shooting and Nelly took care about the hair and make up. As you can see the light in winter in California is just perfect for a photoshooting. The temperature is ideal, it is about 25 grad celsisus. Just perfect that the make up will leave where it needs to and that you dont start to sweating so fast. We worked and photographed till the sundown and both models Silvia and Roland did make a really great job. Especially from Silvia I was really surprised. In the last years since I know her and work with her, she grew even more. Also her very good preparation and great cooperation on set made the shooting very easy and a lot of fun. Because of Roland is an actor, of course his mimic and faceimpressions were very ideal. The whole team did a really great job. After the nightfall we went to Ruby´s for a really original and great burger on the pier of Malibu. Because I know both, Silvia and Roland, did lived in the last time without any calories. Bevor wir nach New York fliegen, wo wir zwei interessante und aufregende Fotoshootings haben werden, hatten wir diese Woche noch ein tolles Fotoshooting mit zwei Österreichern in Malibu. Zum einen mit Roland Kickinger, ein Schauspieler und Sportler der bereits seit längerer Zeit in Los Angeles lebt sowie mit dem Playmate und ehemaligen Miss Austria Silvia Hackl.
Die Chance mit den beiden zu fotografieren habe ich natürlich gleich ausgenutzt um am Strand von Malibu zu fotografieren.
Wir waren an fast der gleichen Stelle wo Mel Gibson in dem Film "Lethal Weapon", in seinem Camper am Strand wohnte.
Wir haben uns erst gegen Mittag getroffen und sind dann gemeinsam and die vorab besichtigte Location gefahren.
Mein Assistent Roman hat das gesamte Equipment an die Location gebracht und perfekt aufgebaut. Wir arbeiteten mit Equipment von California Sunbounce sowie mit Blitzköpfen und Generatoren von Profoto. Roman hatte sehr mit dem Sand und Wind zu kämpfen, ständig mußte er Kabel und Kamera säubern. Silvia und Roland brachten Ihre Outfits selbst mit zum Shooting, Nelly kümmerte sich um Haare und Make up.
Das Winterlicht in Kalifornien ist, wie ihr sehen könnt, einfach perfekt zum fotografieren. Die Temperatur ist ideal, denn wir hatten in etwa um die 25 Grad, so bleibt auch das Make up wo es hingehört und man kommt nicht so schnell ins Schwitzen. Bis zum Sonnenuntergang haben wir gearbeitet und fotografiert. Beide Models Silvia und Roland haben wirklich Toparbeit geleistet und vor allem von Silvia war ich schwer beeindruckt.
Sie hat sich in den letzten Jahren, seit ich Sie kenne und mit ihr arbeite, immer weiter gesteigert. Auch Ihre gute Vorbereitung und tolle Kooperation am Set macht es unheimlich einfach mit ihr zu arbeiten und nicht zuletzt viel Freude.
Bei Roland, der ja Schauspieler ist, waren natürlich auch die Mimik und Gesichtsausdrücke einfach ideal. Das gesamte Team hat einfach perfekt gearbeitet. Nach Einbruch der Finsternis haben wir uns dann am Abend am Malibu Pier bei Ruby´s einen typischen Burger geleistet. Denn ich weiß, dass beide, Silvia und Roland, bis zum Shooting komplett an Kalorien gespart haben.
