By now the weeks are short and the time is runing fast so I have not often the time to tell you about all my productions and events. So I will tell you in the future, when I have the time, about more storys in one blog. On the one side of course it is great to have a lot of work but specially for artists a break is even more important, to get new energy and power for the next productions and to have new ideas. This week on thursday you can see me on ORF1 at 21.45 pm as an audience guest at "WIR SIND KAISER". Who lives in Austria or is by now in the country should not miss the show, where I make the imperator a little nervous with my new nude calendar. I was booked from the specialised shop HARTLAUER for a live photoshooting on stage for a company-event. At this 1500 employers from Hartlauer were sitting in the Design Center and looked over my shoulder while I photographed the Miss Austria Silvia Hackl. After it I talked a little bit with the moderator Rober Kratky about the image editing. This was perfect to show that also in a shooting of such a short time you can get a perfect photographie. With a headset I document the whole shooting. Another live photoshooting will be at the shop Staurn for NIKON in december, and it would be great to see a lot of my fans there. Also my sister Petra Gabriel had this week a great exhibition with her pictures. Because of her mental handicap she can not express herself very good with words but even better with colours. There were a lot of friends and it was a very great evening. More pictures about that you can see on my Facebook fanpage, also you can find some TV-reports on Youtube. Also the weekends were in the last time not really weekends. At the last for example I had my christmas fashion workshop. This was with 25 participants, 3 models and stylists. We had booked a studio in the stylist agency. There we showed the participants on the one hand what is my opinion about photographie itself and on the other hand what is important in photography and showed them a little bit about professional photography and my everyday life. Of course you can show at a one day workshop not the same like at a workshop during 2 or 4 days. But instead in the next year there will be in Germany, Austria and Swiss even more workshops. Also there will be a Mett & Greet where everybody can ask his questions to the different themes. We had all a lot of fun at the workshop and all participants were really happy as you could see it in the mails, pictures and facebookpostings. Also about this you can see a video on Youtube. At the end I will tell all of my fans a citation about one of my idols Andreas Feininger:" The fact that a technical faulty photographie (in the conventional sense), can be emotionaly even more effective then a a technical faultless picture, will only work on somebody shocking who are naive enough to believe in, that a technical perfection is made the true quality of a photo."

Zur Zeit sind mir die Wochen zu kurz und die Zeit zu knapp um euch über all meine Produktionen und Events zu berichten. Daher werde ich für euch in einem Blog, wenn ich mal Zeit finde, mehrere Geschichten einbauen. Auf der einen Seite ist es natürlich gut wenn man viel Arbeit hat doch als Künstler ist es mindestens genauso wichtig Phasen der Ruhe zu haben um wieder Kraft und Energie tanken zu können um neue Ideen umzusetzen. Diese Woche Donnerstag werde ich als Audienzgast bei der österreichischen Comedyserie WIR SIND KAISER im ORF1 um 21.45 Uhr zu sehen sein. Wer in Österreich lebt oder gerade im Lande ist, sollte es sich auf keinen Fall entgehen lassen, dabei zuzusehen wie ich den Kaiser mit meinem neuen Aktkalender nervös mache. Von dem Fachgeschäft HARTLAUER wurde ich für ein Firmenevent gebucht, um dabei live auf der Bühne zu fotografieren. 1500 Mitarbeiter von Hartlauer saßen im Design Center in Linz und schauten mir während ich die Miss Austria Silvia Hackl fotografierte über die Schulter.
Mit dem Moderator Robert Kratky haben wir dann noch ein wenig über die Bildbearbeitung geplaudert. Dabei war klar zu erkennen, dass man auch bei einem solchen Shooting von so kurzer Dauer ein gelungenes Foto schießen kann. Mit einem Headset habe ich das gesamte Fotoshooting dokumentiert. Ein weiteres Live Fotoshooting, diesmal für NIKON werde ich im Dezember bei Saturn machen, dabei würde ich mich natürlich sehr freuen viele meiner Fans zu sehen.
Auch meine Schwester Petra Gabriel hatte diese Woche eine gelungene Ausstellung mit Ihren Gemälden.
Durch Ihre geistige Behinderung kann Sie sich mit Worten nicht so gut ausdrücken, mit Farben dafür um so mehr. Es waren viele Freunde da und es war ein wirklich gelungener Abend.

Auch die Wochenenden waren in der letzten Zeit so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Am vergangenen Wochenende zum Beispiel war mein Christmas Fashion Workshop. Mit dabei waren 25 Teilnehmer, 3 Models und einige Stylisten, gemietet hatten wir ein Studio in der Stylistenagentur. Dort zeigten wir den Teilnehmern zum einen meine Philosophie der Fotografie, was beim Fotografieren wichtig ist und haben Sie ein wenig in die Profifotografie und meinen Alltag eingeführt.
Natürlich kann man bei einem Tagesworkshop bei weitem nicht so viel zeigen wie bei einem Workshop der 2 oder 4 Tage dauert.
Doch dafür gibt es im nächsten Jahr in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz einige Workshop Termine mehr. Auch ein Meet and Greet wird es geben, bei welchem man nett zusammen sitzt und jeder Fragen stellen kann zu den verschiedensten Themen.
Bei dem Workshop hatten wir alle viel Spaß und jeder Teilnehmer war zufrieden wie man es aus den vielen Mails, Fotos und Facebookeinträgen entnehmen konnte.

Zum Abschluss noch ein Zitat für alle meine Fans von einem meiner Vorbilder Andreas Feininger:
"Die Tatsache, dass eine (im konventionellen Sinn) technisch fehlerhafte Fotografie gefühlsmäßig wirksamer sein kann als ein technisch fehlerloses Bild, wird auf jene schockierend wirken, die naiv genug sind zu glauben, dass technische Perfektion den wahren Wert eines Fotos ausmacht."
