Michael Mittermeier is since 20 years on tour. He is one of the founders of the german stand up comedy and one of the most famous comedians in the german speaking room. It was a great pleasure for me to hear as the manamgement gave us the information that Michael would like to get photographed from me. To support my partnerproject "Endangered" for the protection of the gorillas in Rwanda. Behind the project stand a viennese couple which fights for the protection of the gorillas in Rwanda. The gorilla is the animal of the year 2009, they are an endangered species. Claudia and Manfred Hochleithner, who became also friend of us, stand up for the gorillas in Rwanda and also engage themself deeply into protect also the people there. We photoraphed Michael in the stylisten agency, which you can also use as a photostudio. We met eachother before the shooting to talk about the ideas and went then togehter to the shooting. Nelly made the make up and my assistant build two hours before the whole set. Because of my assistant had an similary figure like Michael, I could made, befor Michael came to the shooting, some testshoots with my assistant as lightdouble. So we had all completley finished and ready for the shooting. 3 sujets between them we could switch very easierly. I memorized the shutter speed and blind. So we could photographed very fast without losing so much time. At the time Michael is touring with his program SAFARI through the german speaking room. The program is also on DVD which I can absolutley recommend to you. Soon it is time, to make some new travelpictures, which are getting more and more famous. At this time we drive with a camper through whole France. From de Cote d´Azur over the Normandie and the Vinyards. Nelly and I we are very excited, because of we worked hard for this vacation. Of course I will gave you some up-dates. But before we start we have our portratiworkshop for which a lot of photographers signed in. The new workshops you can find on the mainside.

Michael Mittermeier ist seit 20 Jahren auf Tour. Er ist der Miterfinder der deutschen Stand-up Comedy und einer der bekanntesten Comedians im deutschsprachigen Raum. Es war eine große Freude für mich als uns das Management die Nachricht gab, das Michael sich gerne von mir fotografieren lassen möchte.
Um so mein Partnerprojekt Endangered zum Schutz der Gorillas in Ruanda zu unterstützen. Hinter dem Projekt Endangered steht ein Ehepaar aus Wien das für den Schutz der Gorillas in Ruanda kämpft.
Der Gorilla ist das Tier des Jahres 2009. Gorillas sind vom Aussterben bedroht. Claudia und Manfred Hochleithner, welche mittlerweile auch liebe Freunde von uns geworden sind, setzen sich für die Berggorillas in Ruanda ein und engagieren sich dabei auch unermüdlich für die Bevölkerung des Landes.

Michael hatten wir in die Stylisten Agentur, welche auch als Fotostudio nutzbar ist, eingeladen um ihn dort zu fotografieren. Vorab hatten wir uns getroffen um alles zu besprechen und sind dann gemeinsam zum Studio gefahren. Nelly machte das Make up und mein Assistent hatte bereits 2 Stunden zuvor das gesamte Set fertig aufgebaut. Da mein Assistent eine ähnliche Statur wie Michael hatte, habe ich mit ihm, bevor wir Michael getroffen hatten, ein paar Probeaufnahmen mit ihm als Lichtdouble gemacht.
Dies bedeutet also das alles fix und fertig aufgebaut war als wir dort eintrafen.
3 verschieden Sujets so dass man die Möglichkeit hatte schnell von einem zum anderen Set zu wechseln.
Die Verschlußzeiten und Blenden behielt ich im Kopf. Somit konnten wir relativ rasch wie auch viel mit Michael fotografieren ohne viel Zeit zu verlieren.
Zur Zeit tourt Michael mit seinem neuen Programm SAFARI durch den deutschsprachigen Raum.
Von dem Programm gibt es auch eine DVD welche ich euch wärmstens empfehlen kann.
Bald ist es wieder soweit, meine Travelfotos, welche immer beliebter werden weiter aufzustocken.
Wir werden diesmal mit einem Camper durch ganz Frankreich fahren. Von der Cote d´Azur über die Normandie und über die Weinberge. Nelly und ich wir freuen uns schon sehr, da wir uns den Urlaub durch viel harte Arbeit verdient haben. Ich halte euch natürlich weiterhin auf dem Laufenden.
