An austrian woman captures Hollywood!!! Specially now when we are searching the next Miss Austria, a lot of medias comes to me and ask me what kind of benefits do you have as a model when you are coming from Austria. A model from Vienna asked me if she should go to New York? I can only say that the austrian people are a nation which takes everything very easy and so they often need a lot more stying power. That maches for sports like soccer as same like for the modelbusiness. Of course the exceptions proves the rule, like we can see it at Arnold Schwarzenegger or Werner Schreyer. As I met Sybil Danning for the first time in Los Angeles I was totally enthused by her. She is also somebody who made it. Sybil Danning was born and grew up in Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria. She became famous with national and internationl productions. First of all she startd her career as a photomodel in Austria and Germany. Then she made an education in acting and became her first movieroles. 1972 she moved to Rome and played there mostly in action- and criminalmovies. Then 1977 she moved to Los Angeles where she become on of the famous female actionstars. By now you can see Sybil in the movie "Grindhouse" or in the new "Halloween" movie and also in the new movie "Jump" where she played next to Patrick Swayze.
Nelly and I were really impressed of her!! And maybe she comes to my Vernissage to Vienna. The photoshot with Sybil was very funny and my assistant Roman build the perfekt set. Eine Österreicherin erobert Hollywood!! Gerade jetzt bei der Suche nach der neuen Miss Austria treten viele Medien an mich heran und fragen mich, welche Vorteile man als Model hat, wenn man aus Österreich kommt. Ein Model aus Wien fragte mich über Facebook ob sie nach New York gehen sollte?
Dazu ist nur zu sagen, dass Österreicher von Natur aus ein eher gemütliches Volk sind, die es gerne ruhig angehen lassen und es Ihnen somit auch am oft notwendigen Biß fehlt.
Dies gilt sowohl für Bereiche wie den Sport, wie zum Beispiel Fußball wie aber auch für das Modelbusiness.
Jedoch gilt natürlich auch hier, Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel, wie das zum Beispiel auf Arnold Schwarzenegger oder Werner Schreyer zutrifft.
Als ich Sybil Danning in Los Angeles kennen lernte, war ich von Anfang an begeistert von ihr. Auch sie ist jemand der es geschafft hat. Zu sehen ist Sybil Danning im Moment in den Filmen "Grindhouse" oder dem neuen "Halloween" Film wie auch in dem erst kürzlich erschienenen Film "Jump" in welchem Sie an der Seite von Patrick Swayze spielte.
Sie hat Nelly und mich wirklich sehr beeindruckt! Und vielleicht dürfen wir Sybil bei meiner Vernissagein Wien begrüßen.
Das Fotografieren mit Sybil hat viel Spaß gemacht. Roman, mein Assistent, hat das Set perfekt aufgebaut.
