We have booked, like I told you in my last blog, four professional models in Las Vegas to make shootings for my new worldwide illustrated book "Erotic Visions". I have planed the szenerai for the shooting a few weeks ago as same like we visit the places for the shootings and made some lightchecks. We have done this to make sure that it was possible to be only focused on the models while the shooting. Of course here in America the conditions are very different as in Europe. On the one hand the distances are here so much bigger, you need to drive kilometers to get to the next place. On the other hand you need to take care for a permission to be aloud to do a outdoor photoshooting. If you also like to make nude pictures you need to be sure that there is no audience around you. But we took care for everything and so we could realize the shooting.
One day before the shooting we met Judy, the woman who saved our live a few years ago, in Barstow. Then we continued our travel, sick and very tired from the last days, to Las Vegas. Also my american assistant Romain Leroy came with his wife Edith to Las Veags. The shooting was during two days and on every single day we photographed two models. The models Jaynel & Katie became their make up & styling from Nelly then we drove to the first location, which I have noted with my navigation system three weeks ago. Then after about an hour we arrived. Nelly made the finish with the make up. And while Romain took care for the equipment I was searching for the right light on the set. Jaynel & Katie as same like Nikki & Ashely, on the second day, are very professional models so it was very easy to work with them. Also Edith, Romains wife, was supporting us at the set and you could see she had a great time. I worked with equipment from California Sunbounce and also with Broncor flashes and generators. We were very contended with our work! Then with a lot of vitamins and flu-drugs we started our journey back to Los Angeles, where we will have a shooting with the actress from "American Pie",Simona Fusco and also we have a shooting with Comedian & Hollywoodactor Brad Garrett well known from movies like "Stuart Little 2" or "Night at the museum". wie schon im letzten Blog berichtet, haben wir für meinen ersten weltweiten Bildband "Erotic Visions" 4 Models aus Las Vegas gebucht. Die Idee, wie das Szenario aussehen soll, habe ich schon vor einigen Wochen geplant, sowie die Locations besichtigt und die Lichtverhältnisse geprüft, damit man nicht die wertvolle Zeit mit den Models auf Locationsuche geht. Natürlich herrschen hier andere Bedingungen als in Europa.
Einerseits sind die Distanzen hier viel weiter und man fährt mehrere km von einem Ort zum anderen, und zum anderen muß man in den Staaten, für Outdoor-Fotoaufnahmen eine Permission beim Rathaus einholen.
Wenn man nun auch noch Nudes fotografiert, darf kein "Publikum" vorort sein.
Alles das hatten wir jedoch berücksichtigt. Einen Tag vor dem Shooting, trafen wir unsere Freundin und Lebensretterin Judy in Barstow.
Danach ging es weiter nach Las Vegas, verkühlt und schon sehr müde von den letzten Tagen.
Mein amerikanischer Assistent Roman Leroy kam auch aus Los Angeles mit seiner Frau Edith angereist. Das Shooting war für 2 Tage angesetzt und an jedem Tag fotografierten wir 2 Models. Model Jaynel & Katie wurden in der Früh von Nelly geschminkt & gestylt und dann fuhren wir zur ersten Location, die ich drei Wochen zuvor im Navigator abgespeichert hatte. Nach ca. 1 Std Fahrzeit waren wir angekommen, Nelly machte finishing, und während Roman das Equipment aufbaute, suchte ich nach dem besten Licht am Set. Jaynel & Katie sowie auch Nikki und Ashley am zweiten Tag sind Vollprofis und haben mir die Arbeit sehr erleichtert.
Auch Edith, Roman' s Frau, hat uns tatkräftig am Set unterstützt und sichtlich Spaß gehabt. Ich habe mit dem Equipment von California Sunbounce gearbeitet, sowie mit Broncor Blitzgeräten & Generator.
Wir waren mit unserer Arbeit sehr zufrieden! Gedopt mit Vitaminen und Grippetabletten, fuhren wir nach 2 intensiven Fototagen spät abends wieder zurück nach Los Angeles, wo wir "American Pie" Schauspielerin Simona Fusco und Comedian & Hollywoodschauspieler Brad Garrett fotografieren bekannt aus "Stuart Little2" oder "Nachts im Museum".
